SALES FEATURES & BENEFITS

BRANSON TRACTORS

HYDROSTATIC STEERING:

More control if obstacles are hit with the tire, no mechanical parts to wear out.  All big HP tractors use hydrostatic steering only the low price tractors from China, Japan, and India use mechanical power steering.

DUAL HYDRAULIC PUMPS:

Much smoother operation of the front end loader because the loader and the hydrostatic steering have their own pumps.  Most of the Economy models of tractors use just one pump which is cheaper to produce.

FULLY SYNCRONIZED 12 SPEED TRANSMISSION AND SHUTTLE:

This transmission is much more expensive to produce but most importantly it allows the operator to shift on the go without bringing the tractor to a complete stop to change gears.  All economy tractors made do not have the syncro transmissions as standard equipment.

CAST IRON REAR END AND TRANSMISSION HOUSINGS:

It does no good to have hp and not be able to transmit it to the rear wheels.  Cast Iron is the best ballast, however, it is the most expensive to produce.  You need to go to Kubota’s and John Deere’s more expensive models to get cast iron.  The economy models like the L2800 or L3400 do not have cast iron.  The wonderful thing about our tractors is that when you buy our 30hp, you are getting the same 50hp gearbox as we use in our 50hp.

METAL HOOD – FENDERS-AND SIDE PANELS, POWDER COATED:

No worries of cracking the tractor components due to weathering, accidents, or any other acts that could cause the plastic or fiberglass used on our competitors to crack.  Powder coating prevents UV damage to the paint, bringing longevity to our paint jobs.  All side panels can be removed without any tools.

INDEPENDENT PTO OR LIVE PTO:

The most expensive and most sought after PTO function is independent.  All of you large hp farm utility tractors use independent PTO.  The independent gives the operator much more control over his PTO function, plus it reduces the chances of the operator to burn out his clutch because he no longer has to engage the clutch lever to control his PTO function.  However, we want the extra mile and for those customers who want to stop the PTO with the clutch can do so by switching to the live clutch position on the tractor’s PTO function switch.

WET DISC BRAKES:

All top of the line tractors use wet disc brakes.  Only the economy models or models made in the third world countries use a dry disc or drum brakes.  The reason is that it is much more expensive to produce a wet disc brake.  The advantage of a wet disc brake is very simple in that it is always in a protected environment which assures the operator he will always have excellent braking power under demand.

BACK UP LIGHTS:

Back up lights are automatically engaged when the shuttle lever is shifted into reverse.  The operator will really appreciate this standard equipment when he is working outside late in the evening.  It will illuminate the area behind him so he can see not to back over anything that could be in the way.

TILT WHEEL:

We are one of the very few tractor manufactures that put a tilt wheel in standard equipment. This allows the operator to position the steering wheel for his optimum comfort.

TRUE FLAT DECK:

Branson offers a true flat deck configuration. There is nothing in the way to cause a customer to stumble or catch a pants leg on when dismounting the tractor.

CENTER MOUNTED FUEL TANK:

No one but Branson offers a under the platform fuel tanks on compacts.  The lower tank allows the customer to fill his tank without worrying about spilling fuel all over the tractor and himself, plus it puts the weight of the fuel in the center of the tractor where it belongs.

      SITE GLASS:

Just park the tractor on level ground and look to see if you need to add hydraulic fluid.  No longer do you have to search for the dipstick and a rag.

TWO SPEED PTO:

We are one of the very few that offers a two speed PTO as standard equipment.  Because our A series engine develops its maximum torque at 1800 rpm, it allows the customer to switch to 540E and slow his rpm to approx. 1400 and operate his implements for a greater fuel savings and efficiency.

CLUTCH LOCK:

We are only one of the few that offers clutch locks as standard equipment.  This allows the customer to lock out his clutch disc which will prevent clutch sticking if the customer is leaving his tractor non operational for extended periods.

ALLUMINUM RADIATOR:

No more worry about corrosion destroying your radiator.

SERIES A DIESEL ENGINE:

We are an ODM (original design manufacturer) for Cummins Diesel.  These engines are sold in various applications under the Cummins Label.  Even though the customer can get parts at any Branson dealer, if there is no dealer locally, he can get service and parts at any Cummins store in the USA.  We like to say our tractors have a real GUT in that it produces its maximum torque at 1800 rpm, very important when you are pulling a plow or baler.

REMOVABLE FRONT RADIATOR SCREEN:

This is a very nice standard feature that allows the customer to clean out without having to have air or water to clean.

LIVE POWER:

Both hydraulic pumps are engine mounted, not like some of our competition.  This means that the customer has hydraulic power at his disposal at all times.

SINGLE LEVER QUICK ATTACH BUCKET SYSTEM:

The single lever quick attach system is standard on all of our loaders.  This is at least a $325 - $400 option with the competitor’s loaders.  The single lever makes it a one man show to change attachments.

FOLD DOWN ROPS:

Most of the economy tractors do not have a fold down rops as standard equipment, but they are available at a cost of $200 - $250.  This allows the customer to under trees or any other low lying structure.

INDIVIDUAL WORK LAMP:

We are one of the few companies that offer an individual work lamp.  This allows the customer to shine a light on his implement for nighttime operation or the customer can use it to light up an area to facilitate any work he may have.

FRONT BUMPER GUARD:

All of our loader tractors come standard with a bumper guard to protect the front tractor bonnet.  This is an $80 - $150 option with our competitors.

RECESSED GREASE INSERTS:

All of our loaders come with recessed grease inserts to prevent the possibility of any being broken off.  Also all of the grease inserts are facing outward so the customer can reach them for greasing.

QUICK ATTACH LOADER & MID MOUNT MOUNTING KIT WITH REAR AXLE BRACKETS:

Our loader is a true quick attach requiring no tools to remove plus anyone can remove the loader in less than 5 minutes.  The mid mount mounting frame allows the customer to lift the loader up, and once the tractor side panels are removed, he will have 100% access to the engine compartment.  Look at our competitor’s supposedly mid mount and you will find that you have to go through a front axle bracket to reach the engine.  Plus all of our loaders go to the rear axle which promotes more strength and helps prevent what is known as LOADER SWAY.

LIFT CAPACITY:

Lift capacity of our BL10A is 1700lbs and the three point is 2300.  Lift capacity of our BL20A is 2000lbs and the three point is 2500.  With our tractor and loaders weighing in at over 5000lbs dry and the great lift capacity of our loader and three points, it allows the customer to do much more with his tractor than our competitors.  For instance, the 990 John Deer and L2800 Kubota can only lift 800lbs on the three point and around 1000lbs on their loader.

 FOUR YEAR WARRANTY:

We cover bumper to bumper for 1000 hours or two years, and 2000 hours or four years on the engine and power train. (As of 7/1/06)
